Philippe Sarde
Versatile, prolific composer who has written the music for over 120 films since 1969, when he scored his first feature, Claude Sautet's "The Things of Life." Sarde has enjoyed multi-film associations with Robert Bresson, Bertrand Tavernier and Roman Polanski. In 1976, he earned a double Cesar (the French Oscar) for his work on Tavernier's "The Judge and the Assassin" and Andre Techine's "Barocco."
