Ralph Michael
Ralph Michael was a prolific actor who created a name for himself largely on the big screen. Michael's career in acting began with his roles in various films like the Michael Redgrave drama "The Captive Heart" (1946), the dramatic adaptation "The Hasty Heart" (1950) with Ronald Reagan and "The Sound Barrier" (1952). He also appeared in "Abandon Ship!" (1957) and the dramatic adaptation "A Night to Remember" (1958) with Kenneth More. His film career continued throughout the sixties in productions like "The Heroes of Telemark" (1965) with Kirk Douglas, the dramatic sports film "Grand Prix" (1966) with James Garner and "Khartoum" (1966). He also appeared in the action movie "The Assassination Bureau" (1969) with Oliver Reed. He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Master of the Game" (1983-84). Michael last appeared in "The Heat of the Day" (PBS, 1990-91). Michael was married to Fay Compton. Michael passed away in November 1994 at the age of 87.
