Actor Russell Arms appeared in a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Arms's earliest roles were in film, including the comedy adaptation "The Man Who Came to Dinner" (1941) with Monty Woolley, "Always in My Heart" (1942) and "Captains of the Clouds" (1942). He also appeared in the Ann Sheridan drama "Wings For the Eagle" (1942). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Lash La Rue western "The Fighting Vigilantes" (1947) and "Loaded Pistols" (1949). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Your Hit Parade" (NBC, 1949-1958). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Chance of a Lifetime" (1950-56). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "A Salute to Television's 25th Anniversary" (ABC, 1972-73). Arms last appeared in "Bud and Lou" (NBC, 1978-79). Arms passed away in February 2012 at the age of 92.
