Sarah-Sofie Boussnina
Born in Svendborg, Denmark in 1990, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina's first on-screen role was a series regular part on the Danish comedy "Park Road" (TV2, 2009-2010) about a trio of orphaned siblings that moves to the suburbs to try to escape the wrath of angry gangsters. The series aired for two seasons followed by a 2012 feature film. Over the next five years, Boussnina appeared as a series regular in five different TV series. The first four were broadcast on Danish television including "1864" (DR1, 2014), a bloody historical fantasy/horror series directed by Ole Bornedal, Season 3 of "The Bridge" (SVT1/DR1, 2011-), and the horror/thriller series "Black Lake" (TV3, 2016). Boussnina made her debut as a series regular on her first American-produced show, the historical drama "Knightfall," in 2017. The same year, it was announced that she would have a supporting role in the film "Mary Magdalene," starring Rooney Mara in the title role and Joaquin Phoenix as Jesus.
