Growing up in Milwaukee, Sarah Sokolovic's dreams were almost always on the stage, as she started off performing in community theater in her teens. But by the age of 19, she was landing professional acting roles, which eventually led her to studying at the Yale School of Drama in her 20s while she performed in New York City. Her first major role was in "The Shaggs: Philosophy of the World," a play about a trio of New Hampshire sisters who recorded a legendarily incompetent rock 'n' roll album in the late '60s. Around the same time, she made her television acting debut in an episode of "Unforgettable" (CBS/A&E 2011-16) and "The Good Wife" (CBS 2009-16). Her other stage credits include the David Schwimmer run of "Detroit" and a Yale run of "A Streetcar Named Desire." Sokolovic made her film debut a few years later in the Bryan Cranston-starring "Cold Comes the Night" (2013). She had a bigger role in "Every Secret Thing" (2014), appearing alongside Diane Lane and Elizabeth Banks. In 2015, Sokolovic joined the cast of "Homeland" (Showtime 2011- ) as journalist Laura Sutton.
