Throughout his Hollywood career, Shawn Parsons acted in a wide variety of dramatic films. Parsons made appearances on a wide range of programs early on in his acting career with credits on "Torchwood" (2007-2011), "Parks and Recreation" (NBC, 2008-2015) and "Justified" (FX, 2009-2015). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the action flick "Soldiers of Fortune" (2012) with Christian Slater, the dramatic adaptation "12 Years a Slave" (2013) with Chiwetel Ejiofor and "The Sacrament" (2014) with Joe Swanberg. He also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Person of Interest" (CBS, 2011-) and "Containment" (CW, 2015-16).
