      Known throughout the music industry for his edgy lyrics and catchy beats, rapper Slick Rick also brought his talents to the entertainment industry. During the early part of his Hollywood career, Rick's creative musical scores were featured in films like the Lisa Arrindell Anderson comedic drama "Livin' Large" (1991) and the comedy "Booty Call" (1997) with Jamie Foxx. His music also appeared on the television show "In Living Color" (Fox, 1989-1994). In addition to his music, Rick appeared in "The Show" (1995) with Craig Mack and "Chris Rock: Bigger & Blacker" (HBO, 1998-99). He continued to act in productions like the Danny Hoch dramatic comedy "Whiteboys" (1999), "Brooklyn Babylon" (2001) and the romantic comedy "Brown Sugar" (2002) with Taye Diggs. He also appeared in the TV special "Def Jam Uncensored" (MTV, 2000-01). Rick also created music for "Blaze Battle Face-Off 2000 World Championships" (HBO, 2000-01). Rick's music was most recently used in "The Sitter" (2011). Rick had a number of different projects under his belt in the early 2000s, including "Apollo at 70: A Hot Night in Harlem" (NBC, 2003-04), "Jamie Foxx's Laffapalooza" and "Freedom Writers" (2007). His credits also expanded to "Notorious" with Jamal Woolard (2009).
