Stanley Prager has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. In his early acting career, Prager appeared in such films as the Jeanne Crain romance "In the Meantime, Darling" (1944), "A Bell For Adano" (1945) and "Junior Miss" (1945) with Peggy Ann Garner. He also appeared in "Behind Green Lights" (1946) and the musical "Do You Love Me?" (1946) with Maureen O'Hara. He continued to act in productions like "Doll Face" (1946), "Gentleman Joe Palooka" (1946) and the comedy "The Shocking Miss Pilgrim" (1947) with Betty Grable. He also appeared in "A Foreign Affair" (1948) with Jean Arthur and the John Garfield crime adaptation "Force of Evil" (1948). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the drama "Gun Crazy" (1949) with Peggy Cummins, the comedy "You Gotta Stay Happy" (1949) with Joan Fontaine and the Charlton Heston crime feature "Dark City" (1950). He also appeared in "I'll Get By" (1950). Prager more recently directed the Dustin Hoffman comedy "Madigan's Millions" (1970).
