Juvenile actor Thomas Robinson was an engaging presence in an eclectic array of young roles in features like "The Switch" (2010) and such television series as "Heroes" (NBC, 2006-2010). Born July 9, 2002, Robinson became interested in acting after his older brother, Bryce, landed roles in features like "Marley & Me" (2008). Thomas Robinson made his screen debut as the son of Zachary Quinto's super-villain on "Heroes," and played similar juvenile roles on "The Haunting Hour" (The Hub/Discovery Family, 2010-2014) and "The Protector" (Lifetime, 2011). Robinson drew excellent reviews for his turn in the romantic comedy "The Switch" (2010). He was cast as Jennifer Aniston's son, born from artificial insemination, whose eccentric behavior helps to reveal that his real biological father is Aniston's equally neurotic friend (Jason Bateman), who damaged and then replaced the sperm sample with one of his own. Robinson reunited briefly with Bateman for a typically offbeat episode of the revived "Arrested Development" (Netflix, 2013- ), in which he played an adolescent police officer recruited as part of a sting operation to snare David Cross' hapless Tobias Fünke. In 2015, Robinson was cast as the younger version of George Clooney's character in "Tomorrowland" (2015), a science fiction/adventure from director Brad Bird and co-writer Damon Lindelof for Walt Disney Pictures.
