Timothy Scott

Timothy Scott was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Scott landed roles in various films, including the Kirk Douglas dramatic adaptation "The Way West" (1967), the Sidney Poitier dramatic adaptation "In the Heat of the Night" (1967) and the Doris Day western "The Ballad of Josie" (1967). He also appeared in the comedy "The Party" (1968) with Peter Sellers, "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" (1969) with Paul Newman and the comedy "One More Train to Rob" (1971) with George Peppard. His film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like the Robert Redford dramedy "The Electric Horseman" (1979), "The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez" (1983) and the Gene Hackman drama "Eureka" (1984). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the dramatic biopic "Chattahoochee" (1990) with Gary Oldman, the dramatic adaptation "Fried Green Tomatoes" (1991) with Kathy Bates and the comedy "Clean Slate" (1994) with Dana Carvey. Scott more recently acted in "Silent Tongue" (1994) with Richard Harris.
