Tom London

Tom London was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. London began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "Code of the Northwest" (1926), "King of Kings" (1927) and "Firebrand Jordan" (1930). He also appeared in "Borrowed Wives" (1930), the western "Under Texas Skies" (1930) with Bob Custer and the dramatic adaptation "All Quiet on the Western Front" (1930) with Lew Ayres. He kept working in film throughout the thirties, starring in "The Lawless Nineties" (1936), "Wildcat Saunders" (1936) and "Western Gold" (1937) with Smith Ballew. He also appeared in "Springtime in the Rockies" (1937). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Gene Autry musical "Stardust on the Sage" (1942), the Billy Elliott western "The Valley of Vanishing Men" (1943) and the western "Wagon Tracks West" (1943) with Billy Elliott. He also appeared in "Bad Men of Thunder Gap" (1943) and the Charles Starrett western "Hail to the Rangers" (1943). London more recently acted in the Cliff Robertson drama "Underworld, U.S.A." (1961). London passed away in December 1963 at the age of 74.
