AeroBlitz B This was one of the most infuriating movies I've ever seen, It's filled to the brim with corny dialogue and writing that is so absurdly unrealistic it's almost funny. And it's a shame because this movie could've been great, the core theme of identity is fascinating but it's all gone to waste. The twin (which we don't even get a name for) is one of the most unlikable characters I've ever witnessed, I'm honestly not quite sure what they were trying to go for because I felt absolutely nothing but hate and disgust towards him. And the ending is just the cherry on top making it so that the main character Liam gives permission to the twin to essentially take over his life while he goes and lives somewhere else which is such a slap in the face because it is not deserved in the slightest, the twin is a terrible person and all he ever cared for was money (which was also his main motivation and the entire reason why he came to haunt Liam at all) and yet he gets to have his son and wife in the end. The only reason I'm willing to give this movie anything above a zero is because of Brendan Gleeson's incredible performance, he really gives it his all and makes the two twins feel so different from each other. It's a shame his talent was wasted on such a messy script. Work's well if you like the Physiological Thriller that makes your skin crawl. Or maybe I was just watching movies too late at night again.
