      Critics Consensus

More mild than wild. This tween comedy mess falls flat on its face due to poor characters, poor direction and poor jokes.

Vale apena assistir? Sim, para relaxar nossa mente. They have not watched it from the perspective of a teenage girl. I loved this movie and have watched it several times over. Poppy was naughty and misbehaving and, since losing her mother, her father was running out of options of how to deal with her. He didn't just send her off to any old boarding school, it was her mothers old school where, once she had found this out, had a moment of realisation. Natasha Richardson is brilliant, even the head girl plays her part with an air of cringing meanness, just as I remember head girls were at my school. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/11/23 Full Review George C The Sistine Chapel of modern cinema. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/08/23 Full Review Eri T "Wild Child" is a heartwarming coming-of-age film that follows the journey of Poppy (Emma Roberts). Emma Roberts delivers a standout performance as Poppy, capturing the character's rebellious spirit and vulnerability with equal skill. The supporting cast also shines, with Richardson bringing gravitas to her role as the stern headmistress and Pettyfer adding charm and charisma as Poppy's love interest. Overall, "Wild Child" is an enjoyable and uplifting movie that will appeal to audiences of all ages. It is a great reminder that sometimes the biggest lessons in life come from unexpected places and that change can lead to growth and self-discovery.
