Ted B 3.5 stars. First, I will confess my bias: I like the 'whodunit' genre of the 1930s and 1940s, like the "Thin Man" series. This film didn’t measure up to that series, but it was good nonetheless. I especially loved the chemistry between Rosalind Russell and Robert Montgomery. It had some traces of the love/hate dynamic perfected by Tracy and Hepburn. The synopsis sums up the plot pretty well. Because it did a good job of holding the 'who did it' aspect to the end of the film, I gave it that extra half star.
