Audience Member I think this film has a pretty reasonable storyline. However, the graphics were pretty bad for being made in 2008. Despite this it is a lovely story...but the TV series is still the best! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Stupidest thing ever. I put it in and turned it off within 5 minutes, and that is something I will very rarely do. The hamster was a doll. Literally. Clearly this is completely low budget, and... weird! Don't rent. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Not too bad for a kid's movie, but it wasn't the greatest. Maybe worth seeing because of the voice acting. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member How could they!!! I don't know how I managed to watch all of this film - an absolute insult to one of my favourite programs as a kid. This had an impressive lineup form the cast, but the film was just so poor. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member I must admit to being a fan of "tales from the riverbank" as a kid. My memory of real animals playing the charactors badly was much better than the furry fakes in this movie. This didnt cut it. Tracy Moore Common Sense Media Clever rodent romp resolves conflict with cartoonish action. Rated: 4/5 Mar 8, 2013 Full Review Anton Bitel Eye for Film The film itself has the feel of something cobbled together in the austerity years -- and it is the better for such Aardmanesque qualities.
