Robert Koehler Variety Director Grou lacks the gene for sheer, bloody exploitation, he also doesn't know how to rack up the tension and get under viewers' collective skin. Jan 26, 2010 Full Review Katey Rich CinemaBlend Brave the violence and see a filmmaker in utter control of a story we thought we'd seen done too many times to appreciate all over again. Jan 24, 2010 Full Review Brian Tallerico Movie Retriever Perhaps not quite torture porn but undeniably torture drama, 7 Days is one of the most gut-wrenching and disgusting things you could order On Demand all year. Jan 22, 2010 Full Review Emma Wolfe SpookyAstronauts I think that 7 Days is a film that really allows you to take that kind of step backwards and look at the bigger picture... A great balance of gore and psychological thrills. Gianluca R Great french movie, you can feel the grief of a father and the violence of the vengeance. A lot of reflection about the boundaries a man can reach. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/28/24 Full Review Aaron D Disturbing, dark and with the quintessential blue filter, 7 Days is a macabre exploration of vengeance through the lens of a grieving father. Well-acted, the characters are enjoyable to watch even if the movie runs about thirty minutes longer than it needs to. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/10/24 Full Review Audience Member He's a surgeon who has a daughter that is raped and murdered. But how he decides to deal with his pain and desire for retribution is hard to watch. Not for the weak stomached. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review neil v I thought it was engrossing but not entertaining because of its seriousness. It's scary that these crimes happen every day. Society needs to toughen up on the purveyors of such crimes. No more coddling violent criminals. It was well done. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Oh my goodness. I don't know how to rate this film. It's a good one, but! After a while into it, it became extremely hard to watch. The father starts to lose his mind. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member I believe this question kept coming up while watching it : Would I do the same to revenge?
