Audience Member The Pack is really terrifying suspense thriller film that would keep you on the edge of your seat. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/22 Full Review Audience Member It's Joe Don Baker vs. a pack of abandoned, angry, and possibly rabid dogs. Low budget, gritty slice of 1970s horror that's surprisingly tense. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review dave s In The Long Dark Night (aka The Pack), mayhem ensues when a pack of wild dogs who have been abandoned by their owners on a remote tourist island decide to turn the tables on the inhabitants of the island. Despite some wince-worthy dialogue, plenty of pointless scenes early on, and some pretty bottom-rate acting, Joe Don Baker (of Walking Tall fame) does his best to hold the whole mess together. Once things get going, which seems to take a while, the dog attacks are actually pretty convincing and the leader of the pack comes across as truly menacing. The Long Dark Night is not as good as it could have been, but it's a lot better than other similar films from the same period. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member vacationers vs wild dogs in this lame seventies horror pic. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member A very fast, entertaining and fun film which may not have a lot of brains but it's heart is in the right place.
