Then there's Bekim Fehmiu, a sultry, charismatic and handsome hero's hero, and a bevvy of beautiful women including Candice Bergen and Leigh Taylor Young. Harold Robbins trash done on an epic scale. It's probably his charisma on one hand, and sense of rightousness that he brings into almost all of his characters on the other. It's amasing how a modest Sarajevo born kid could get as far as Holywood back in the days of Cold War. The movie itself might have been different without him.One of his best movies in my oppinion.
