Jared Abolutely love this movie. There is so much going on comedically in every scene. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/19/23 Full Review Elan C I LOVE this movie. It is fun and funny and no man ANYWHERE can pull off red pumps like Armand can! (not the same without Brown Eyed Girl though) I have read many unfavorable reviews from critics; I think perhaps they should take themselves a little less seriously on things not meant to be serious. Just enjoy!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/07/23 Full Review robert p What a Rotten Movie, the jokes were absolutely dumb, this movie I could not watch anymore after 20 minutes. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review steve d It all falls flat... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member With all due respect to Carl Reiner, but this was AWFUL. Armand Assante was Miscast ( for some reason ,I couldn't root for him,and just wanted to hit him with a telephone, idk) and Sherylin Fenn her Talent was wasted in this. Entertainment Weekly Rated: B- Dec 1, 2008 Full Review Brian Lowry Variety The filmmakers have provided critics ample artillery by prominently featuring a skunk in this thuddingly flat spoof of erotic thrillers. Sep 30, 2008 Full Review Jonathan Rosenbaum Chicago Reader It's a real pity, because Reiner has certainly been funnier and more inventive on other outings and Sherilyn Fenn makes a winsome gal Friday. Sep 30, 2008 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins There aren’t enough great moments to make this production altogether entertaining – despite a few solid, littler chuckles and some clever, noirish, metaphoric blunders. Rated: 5/10 Aug 9, 2023 Full Review Malcolm Johnson Hartford Courant Taken on its own, Fatal Instinct is rarely hilarious and only fleetingly suspenseful. About all it offers is a series of trivia games, as hardcore movie buffs guess the sources and whisper eagerly to one another.
