Ned Ravine (Armand Assante) is a police officer and lawyer who occasionally defends the delinquents he arrests. He crosses paths with a seductive femme fatale, Lola Cain (Sean Young), during an assignment and promptly begins an affair with her. Meanwhile, Ned's wife, Lana (Kate Nelligan), is deep in an affair of her own. I LOVE this movie. It is fun and funny and no man ANYWHERE can pull off red pumps like Armand can! (not the same without Brown Eyed Girl though) I have read many unfavorable reviews from critics; I think perhaps they should take themselves a little less seriously on things not meant to be serious. Just enjoy!!!

With all due respect to Carl Reiner,but this was AWFUL. Armand Assante was Miscast ( for some reason ,I couldn't root for him,and just wanted to hit him with a telephone,idk) and Sherylin Fenn her Talent was wasted in this.
