05/09/2014 Feels more outdated than it is with the same things you see in most romantic/ comedies/ jersey films. See more 08/11/2012 another mcdermott movie i've fallen in love with. until seeing this on youtube, i didn't know there was another jersey girl movie, just the one with jennifer lopez, ben affleck, and liv tyler. although it somewhat depicts how we view people from new jersey, (i.e. big hair, fake nails, diners, having either italian or irish heritage, etc.), it's a very cute love story of a woman doing everything she can to get the man of her dreams. my favorite scene is where dylan and jami are making love and when morning falls in the big apple after they've finished having sex, sal looks at toby and then realizes that he's falling head over heels for her. plus, he's back in the bed smooching her hand and then lifts her face up and smooches her while asleep, now if an uber-hot guy did that to me after a night of passion, i'd be in heaven and breathless. watch this movie if you like love stories about a chick wanting mr. right or to drool over dylan. as i've said before, he's one very good looking man and this flick is no exception. totally would recommend this movie. oh, forgot to mention that you'll get to see mcdermott in his birthday suit in the flick, GIGGITY!!!
