Jay Boyar Orlando Sentinel Much to my surprise, I found Babe charming in an eccentric, oddly tough-minded sort of way. And if it isn't quite good enough to change my mind about the entire critter-chat genre, it is certainly good enough to recommend. Jun 16, 2015 Full Review Richard Schickel TIME Magazine He's brave and bright, good-natured and ambitious, naive and vulnerable. All in all, he's probably the most winsome orphan to appear on the screen since Freddie Bartholomew impersonated David Copperfield 60 years ago. Aug 19, 2014 Full Review Jami Bernard New York Daily News Thanks to well-trained live animals, clever voice characterizations and a big dash of muppetry from Henson's Creature Shop, Babe and his barnyard friends not only walk the walk and trot the trot, they also talk the talk. Rated: 3.5/4 Aug 19, 2014 Full Review Wesley Lovell Cinema Sight Babe is a delightful tale told with untold depths of joy and acceptance. It says that not only should you be accepted for who you are, you should be accepted regardless of what you choose to do or who you choose to be. Rated: 4/4 Nov 26, 2022 Full Review Danielle Solzman Solzy at the Movies Over 25 years later, Babe remains one of 1995's best pictures of the year. Rated: 5/5 Apr 11, 2022 Full Review Dennis King Tulsa World Wise, captivating and thoroughly loony, this artful little farm fable is one of those rare films that works for all age levels. thiago s filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é fraco, os personagens são bacaninhas, mas as vezes colocar um monte de bicho para ter fala, pode ficar meio chato e foi o caso desse filme, Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/02/24 Full Review Glen M I’ve watched this with my kids since they were small. Now they’re 40,23,19 I have to watch it on my own. It’s one of my favourite movies of all time. ‘If I had words’ makes me cry every time. Babe is immortal. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/28/24 Full Review alan g A rare gem of a movie. Touching, sweet but not saccharine sweet. Great acting, great plot animals steal the show. A must watch for all ages. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/03/24 Full Review Amy S After watching Babe twice in the same day, the only thing I can say is that it's a perfect movie. Emotionally devastating and heartwarming in equal measure. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/07/24 Full Review Mate P Babe is an incredibly adorable story of a little pig. Although the movie is not long, it is flat at times. Most of the animals depict a type of person or a certain type of behavior. Babe as the main character is very cute. He represents children and naive people, while other characters represent stubbornness, wisdom. Fly represents a caring person, while the cat represents an avenger. I loved this part of the writing, but the pacing wasn't good. After an hour the story became flat. The ending was very satisfying though. The directing was good, the cinematography was gorgeous. Outside of pacing the editing was good, but the best part of the movie is definitely the visual effects. Absolutely perfect and beautiful, I had no doubt the animals were real, and this movie came out in 1995! Babe is a cute movie, but it has its problems. The visuals are outstanding. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/01/24 Full Review c p I cry every time I watch Babe. It's a cute, feel-good, talking animals movie and who doesn't love James Cromwell.
