Largely a chore to get through, with the only bright spot of the experience being that the film knows how bizarre and campy it is. Still, there are plenty of other holiday-themed horrors that are more worth your time. Go to Full Review

It gives you everything you want - the corny jokes, the over-the-top kills...it is a surprisingly competent movie for what it is. Go to Full Review

At times a bad horror and at others a bad TV movie, Jack Frost is terrible from start to finish – so much so it’s… good. Go to Full Review

The characters are two-dimensional, the dialogue is uninspired, and the production values are low. But most of that is forgivable when considering one doesnt watch a film about a mutant, killer snowman expecting high art. Go to Full Review

A movie to be taken with a pinch of salt, Jack Frost is bargain basement genre fodder at its cheesiest and most appealing. Go to Full Review

Most notable for an eroticized rape scene - with actress Shannon Elizabeth in the tub, a migrating carrot nose, and a lascivious snowman. Go to Full Review

Rob W 1d This really is a comedy/horror with it's tongue firmly in its frozen cheek, I say frozen, the movie was obviously filmed out of season and the fake snow is hysterical, in one scene a sheriffs boot lifts up a small carpet of the white stuff! It's the late 90's so kids have bowl head haircuts, Parents are angry and teen wear check shirts. The budget is low, the killer snowman, literally no expense spared, but its delightful fun. The (few) kill scenes are a giggle, a woman gets strangled and hung up in a Christmas tree, "you don't think we should leave her up for the 12 days?" asks one of the dimwitted Cops. The funniest scene though is when the movie teen hottie spends 10 minutes or so drying her hair, only to get fully submerged in a hot bath, get murdered in a very compromising position, in which our killer proclaims "looks like Christmas came early, how was it for you?" It's a low budget Christmas cracker. check out my blog https://theabsolutehorror.blogspot.com/ See more Orlando R. @ManFromAnotherPlace 1d This movie isn’t trying to be a Christmas masterpiece, it’s an enjoyable waste of time. I wouldn’t mind throwing this one while I wrap presents or cook Christmas dinner. It’s competently made, the practical effects are charming and the story is fun and creative. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Dec 3 Jack Frost is a hilariously ridiculous horror film, chaotic, over-the-top, and completely corny—but that’s exactly what makes it entertaining. The concept of a killer snowman is absurd, and the movie fully embraces its premise, creating a film that’s laughable yet oddly compelling. The screenplay is a mess, with a plot that jumps all over the place, flat dialogue, awkward casting, and sloppy direction. Despite these flaws, the movie somehow keeps you watching because the absurdity becomes its charm. The antics of a murderous snowman provide moments of unintentional humor, much like Snakes on a Plane, making it so bad it’s actually fun. The kills, improbable scenarios, and audacity of the premise are enjoyable in their own right. While the story is nonsensical and the characters poorly developed, the film thrives on unpredictability and unapologetic silliness. Jack Frost isn’t scary, but it’s a guilty pleasure—a ridiculous, fun mess worth experiencing. See more Harrison B @emailaddress Nov 14 Bad, but only a little entertaining ironically.
