Critics Consensus

Despite having real comics in the cast, this tedious and painfully unfunny movie desperately needs a screenplay.

StephenPaul C LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 21 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/30/23 Full Review Stephen C What the f**k were you thinking?!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member A movie that only works knowing the cast and their comedy antics - being "in on the joke". Screwed is a nonstop schlock-fest that will make you question why the film was ever made in the first place. And that is exactly why it is humorous. It's hilarious seeing two of the funniest comedians in the past few decades throw all their bad ideas in a giant bag and pair it together with the worst acting they could usher up. If you're not looking for a film full of shlock then avoid this movie, but if you love to laugh at shlock it definitely delivers. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member It's amateurish direction and production is buoyed by an extremely strong cast and redeemable premise. It's underwhelming in almost every regard given the talent on screen, but the talent shines through enough to make Screwed a passable affair. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member The laughs are real, so don't get screwed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Goddamnit, how in the fuck can you not love a movie with Dave Chapelle, Norm Macdonald AND a young, incredibly hot Sarah Silverman? I think it's hilarious. And why is it that critics always have shit taste in movies? As Dave Chapelle recently said about critics: "SHUT THE FUCK UP FOREVER", thank you very much :) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Read all reviews
