Gareth v A movie that long suffering sports fans (particularly Arsenal fans) can relate to. Funny and highly entertaining. Colin Firth is always appealing, even when his character is behaving in unlikeable ways. And you don't have to be a football fan to enjoy its story, which can translate to any obsession, not just one that is sports related. I 15 minuti finali sono però uno splendido riassunto dei sentimenti che porta con sè un qualsiasi sportivo durante gli eventi più importanti della squadra per cui fa il tifo. This film shows the importance of football, but as/more importantly, the importance of love! He reminds me of the majority of mexican men who get brainwashed through a C class soccer league. A movie with flaws, but with some kind of soul.
