Candice Frederick Reel Talk Online It's well acted, nuanced, and surprisingly effective. A definite must-see thriller. Rated: B+ Mar 21, 2017 Full Review Nigel Andrews Financial Times It works best whenever Goodman swaggers into frame, a slack-jawed psycho with a cuddly side. Rated: 3/5 Dec 28, 2016 Full Review Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com 10 Cloverfield Lane might not be a true sequel to Cloverfield, but that doesn't make it any less magnificent, watching it a spellbinding treat I simply did not want to see come to an end. Rated: 4/4 Aug 15, 2016 Full Review Brian Bisesi Horror Movie Club Podcast 10 Cloverfield Lane takes the time to flesh out nuanced character dynamics without sacrificing its thrilling pace. The script, direction, and acting all serve to keep this practically single setting film engaging and exciting Rated: 4.5/5 Sep 25, 2024 Full Review JD Duran InSession Film Overall, the craftsmanship on display pretty stimulating and Trachtenberg has put his name into the hat of directors you need to watch out for in the near future. Rated: A- Aug 1, 2024 Full Review Ankit Ojha Cinema Elite [...] this is a film that gleefully revels in its own expressionist undertones, and the fact that it’s a part of the “Cloverfield” universe only goes to benefit from that. Lucas t Absolutely brilliant from start to finish it is a suspenseful thrill ride. 9.6/10. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/11/24 Full Review Andrew P The ending leaves something to be desired, but John Goodman's performance more than makes up for it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/18/24 Full Review The R This movie have a brilliant plot twist! The atmosphere is tense and the end blows my mind. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/17/24 Full Review Brooke J It definitely had me guessing and doubting everything, but what was that ending? I couldn’t tell if it was all o joke and then the movie just ended. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/15/24 Full Review Max N What the hell did I just watch Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/08/24 Full Review Audience Member There were things in this film that happened with its story/plot that I didn't quite expect to. The two main cast members performed quite well, however the other male character in the bunker named Emmett was kind of annoying. Plus, there were other flaws that I couldn't quite overlook (like how Michelle found the exact right keys to use at the exact right time when trying to escape through the door, poorly planned means of escaping earlier by setting the air duct on fire and possibly putting her own life at risk by suffocating, etc.). Nevertheless, the film was intense and gripping overall and left me creeped out which meant it did its job well! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/29/24 Full Review Read all reviews
