Acting is great, visuals are great, setting is claustrophobic, its pacing and mystery is interesting, but it's impossible to figure anything out with certainty before the characters do. You can see some inspiration A Quiet Place takes from this.

One of the most surprising releases, an even bigger surprise for Cloverfield fans. This movie contains such a small cast and really sells the performances of its cast. It only proves that a smaller scale doesn't mean a dwindle in quality. What I find ironic about this movie, is the small addition that makes it a 'Cloverfield' movie. As it was originally its own movie before getting the Cloverfield addition. Overall, its a great thriller with a solid cast and story.
