Critics Consensus

With its plot about child kidnapping and endangerment, Trapped is an exploitative thriller, more queasy than suspenseful.

keven q @kevenquinlan 5d I won't slay it like the other reviewers did- it IS worth a watch. It's not going to ever be held in great regard but I've watched tons of other movies that weren't as good as this. Give it a spin. See more David Lee K Dec 19 Trapped might be the cinematic low point of the early 2000s, a decade that already gave us plenty to regret. The script is impressively stupid, and the film makes a heroic effort to avoid logic at all costs. By the final act, you’re no longer concerned about the characters being trapped. You’re just questioning your own life choices for not turning it off sooner. Do yourself a favor and skip this one!
