Louis M Tom is doing it the way he always does, and it makes for an enjoyable TV Movie. Viola Davis in this was surprising to me even though I had known it then, must be her present EGOT status I guess. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/18/23 Full Review Trey W Tom got the greatest mustache alive. Solid old cop movie, nothing super exceptional. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/27/23 Full Review Tyler T What you expect of an old school cop movie. Toms mustache makes it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Overall, while I've never been familiar with Jesse Stone as a character or the well-known crime writer Robert B. Parker, going into this film was a pleasant surprise. It's no wonder why this movie later spawned an additional eight films, with Tom Selleck returning for each one of them. The leading character is highly likeable and easy for audiences to feel invested in. Movie lovers who enjoy a fun cat-and-mouse thriller will undoubtedly enjoy the lead, supporting cast and the various plots that unfold in both Stone Cold and the following films. As the credits rolled on this first feature, I was passionate to begin the second instalment instantly, eager and excited to see what would happen next. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/11/23 Full Review steve d I wish they did the first book first but this is really fun. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Love Selleck, but this unpleasant film features awful, clunky dialogue and lacks finesse. The B story doesn't relate to the main plot and is another unpleasant distraction. The actions of the police chief are silly and nonsensical. The representation of police, the legal system, and attorneys is laughable. Simply not an enjoyable film. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
