Audience Member A Mormon co-worker let me borrow a film made specifically for Mormons. I was curious if they had films like "Fireproof" or "Facing the Giants". Films that reaffirm their way of life while while providing a slight glimpse of insight to their beliefs, which interests me. Make no mistake, this is not a good film but at least it tries to have a sense of humor. That is more than I can say for the Evangelical efforts. Which seem to only exist to remind people they have absolutely no control over their lives and letting go is the only correct path through life. Which bugs me. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A great movie about a returned missionary. Lots of LDS humour for the whole family to enjoy. My kids love this movie as well. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Hahaha, funny movie! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member I'll always have a special love for this movie Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member The RM was an awesome mormon movie. Sometimes mormon movies can be kinda lame, bad acting and stuff. But this movie really was halarious. I love Will Swenson, he's so funny! It was so halarious when he goes to see his gf and she's like ''yeah i'm engaged to somebody else''. And the guy's name is Kirby! So he goes on about how ugly that name is but it's the actor's actual name! So funny. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Humorous low stress movie. You don't have to know your Mormon encyclopedia front and back to get the jokes in this one! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Andrew Griffin Town Talk (Alexandria, LA) It's a pretty swell flick, with an amusing storyline, endearing characters, fine acting, great music, and quality production. Rated: B+ Oct 18, 2004 Full Review Steve Rhodes Internet Reviews A lame production that suffers from a paucity of fresh ideas. Rated: 1.5/4 Sep 11, 2003 Full Review Sean P. Means Salt Lake Tribune Amateurish performances and production values, pointless local cameos and a parochially exclusionary tone that penetrates all the way to the movie's title. Rated: 2/4 May 7, 2003 Full Review Joe Baltake Sacramento Bee A strange mess. Rated: 2/4 Apr 11, 2003 Full Review William Arnold Seattle Post-Intelligencer Witty and highly polished, if very forgettable, satire that pokes self-deprecating fun at the church while strongly reaffirming its values. Rated: C+ Apr 10, 2003 Full Review Jim Lane Sacramento News & Review Non-Mormons may find themselves scratching their heads at the LDS in-jokes, but much of the film is surprisingly funny.
