Audience Member one of my favorite horror movies of 1990. underrated horror gem. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review kyle c It's too bad the English dub of this movie was so terrible. Unfortunately I couldn't find a French version with subtitles anywhere. Basically this movie is ridiculous but kind of fun. There's a good element of mystery to the whole thing and the gore is delightful. I also think there's a pretty solid feminist message in here, if you read it correctly, which can be interesting. Baby Blood would have really benefited from an engaging score, but unfortunately the music is abysmal when it's there at all. Overall It's worth watching if you're into fun and stupid gore, but stay away from the dub if possible. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolutely brilliant! It's gonzo, gory and wretched at parts. I love the inner dialog Emmanuelle has with her murderous fetus. I recommend watching the French version if you can. Felt more effective to me. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Uncomfortable feminine premise but one that actually makes for a good gore-laden horror. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Circus combined with monsters, what could have been better? Baby blood is a disturbing tale of a woman's revenge on men, with a twist of parasite like fetus. It has got some nice gore but the script was pretty bad, acting was bad too, Yanak goes naked for no reason and is a total whore, I couldn't feel any sympathy for her. The baby's voice was annoying, it really shouldn't have been used, I really though using silence would strengthen the effect but oh well, I am not the director. Low budget shocker at its best. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Fun (in a sick sort of way) French B-horror picture from the late 80's/early 90's. Part pregnancy horror, part evil parasite flick. Lots of blood, ample nudity, and splashes of humor keep this one rolling along. A guilty pleasure, yes, but doesn't take itself too seriously.
