Steve Dread Central The pacing of Solstice drags the viewer to the finish line nearly half asleep ... [it] disappoints with its surprising blandness and heavy-handed mediocrity. Rated: 2.5/5 Jan 5, 2008 Full Review Read all reviews

Sean S Horribly boring venture going 30 minutes into it. Add to that unlikable characters, no action, suspense, much of a story line, etc. It was kind of like Beverly Hills 90210 on a trip out to the woods with not much going on... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Solid performances and an unexpected ending save this cheap thriller from being a waste of time- even though the movie doesn't bring anything new or better to the table. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review dax h Wife's rating. She's the scary movie buff. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Decent enough but wouldn't really say it was a horror film. The film is interesting enough and well acted but there are no real scares in it, especially by todays standards. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member If you're a horror fan you'll find this one familiarly formulaic in its design, but it's still not a bad effort in very suitably moody surroundings. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member So who could think that it'd be a bad idea to summon the spirit of your twin sister after her suicide, right? This swamp-set horror is okay, but features some actors playing roles that feel as if they were written for characters meant to be at least a decade older than who is ultimately playing them, which I found really distracting.
