Giorgio G For years I had been under the illusion that I had seen this flick, but I must have actually missed it back then as I now finally realized. I guess it must have been released while we were on our 4 month trip through Europe in 2008. Anyway I quite enjoyed it, eventually tonight. I do like the occasional bank heist movie, though always reminding myself that they are fictional. When it comes to real ones I get rather upset as in the end the customers will have to cover the damage with higher fees in the future, if not for their bank, but their insurance company. Thus I should actually really despise this movie as it's based on a real robbery in 1971. But as one result of it was the exposure of corrupt policemen and politicians, and many of the safety deposit boxes owners refusing to explain the contents, thus showing that they were hiding dirty wealthes as well, the final outcome was a delight for society as a whole, and me. The director of the movie could have been better, I'd say, but all in all it's quite a decent flick, well worth spending those nearly 2 hours on it. 7/10 points Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/28/24 Full Review Noneya B Pretty good, I'll watch it again at some point. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/17/23 Full Review Mike C This has to be one of Ritchie's best. The flow to this film was so fluid, it felt as though it all took place in only a few days. Extremely well done cinematograhy and slow build scenes just to name a few. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
