Alex G Sometimes funny, but with no suspence. When it mattered the most, the movie couldn't hold it's promisse. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/24 Full Review Gareth v One of Kevin Smith's better movies. While some of jokes are predictable and immature, it is a funny movie on the whole and it does have some heart. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/18/23 Full Review Philip Y I had fun with this movie. It's a raunchy comedy with a believable romance that awakens between the friends in the movie's title over the course of the movie. Some of the performances of the supporting cast are better than others but they're all solid and the leads are good. I remember the film's marketing had me thinking this was yet another Apatow romp and thought this probably isn't Kevin Smith's greatest work it does feel like one of his movies more than I was expecting and overall I think it's pretty unique. And watching it in 2023 I'm surprised at how well it holds up its a product of its time and it does a few things that movies don't do anymore. But if it was being made today there are very few things they would have to do. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Stephen C LOL, 1 hour: and 41 minutes of comic relief and pornography-making!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty funny and entertaining movie Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/12/22 Full Review Audience Member It's kind of funny in spots, but it wears thin because it's the same humor over and over. The main problem with this movie is that it fails as a romantic comedy because the lead actor is homely and the whole screenplay is basically a fat, homely guy's fantasy of getting together with an attractive woman. All those scenes where Zack and MIri suddenly realize they love each other just comes off as extremely FAKE. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Hank Sartin Time Out Rated: 4/5 Nov 18, 2011 Full Review Christine Champ Film.com All in all it's a modern-day, Kevin Smith fairytale: a big-screen bearing, perhaps, of his soul at its sincerest and wittiest, if not filthiest. Rated: B+ May 6, 2011 Full Review Sandra Hall Sydney Morning Herald There remain some scatological touches I am still trying to forget. It's all done with great glee, yet falls far short of being hilarious. Feb 20, 2009 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Zack and Miri Make a Porno exposes Smith’s formula to its most naked structure, leaving his outline blatant and overexposed. We slowly realize that he’s been making the same movie over and over again: Sex comedies with surprising acumen and feeling. Rated: 2/4 Sep 5, 2023 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins Whether or not genuine romantic drama was intended, the end result just isn't that funny.
