Dee My son and I were disappointed that there was a chance for the diector to show the beautiful islands and people of Cebu and Matcan but chose not to. Nor did the director choose a show the talents of escra or Kali used by the military to this day. The best part about it was to share a part of history and culture with people in the states and the opportunities was lost and did not translate well. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/03/23 Full Review Dale J Bea Alonzo was the only bright spot in this movie. unfortunately it suffered from a bad storyline, worse dialogue, and a combat sequence that a community playhouse would have been ashamed of. what could have been a redeeming feature in this movie would have been cinematography in a Paradise called Palawan where this "film" was shot. Unfortunately it looked like a bootleg "cam" done with a 90s era Nokia phone. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/07/24 Full Review RJ A I’m sorry but its the worst movie i’ve ever seen. Horrible acting and looks like a school project. Won’t recommend. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/05/24 Full Review Mario M I'm a big, longtime fan of the writer. I would recommend anything written by this talented scribe. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/25/23 Full Review Jamie S It was a great way of learning about the history of the Philippines. Brought my kids to watch the movie and they were definitely entertained and enjoyed it! The love story in the movie was heartfelt! Must see!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/17/23 Full Review Andrea H I've watched the movie twice and I loved it! As a Bisaya myself, I felt proud of the character of Lapu-lapu and how we fought to protect our islands. Great acting by Michael Copon! Kudos to the producer, scriptwriters and the whole cast and crew! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
