Frank Scheck The Hollywood Reporter A thoroughly mediocre retelling that feels like an unnecessary footnote. Jan 17, 2019 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times "The Brawler" isn't terrible, but those with any interest at all in Chuck Wepner should start with one of the many better options. Jan 16, 2019 Full Review Chris Salce Film Threat I don't think that the intentions of this film were to inspire like many films about boxers tend to do, but it was more to tell an interesting story, which I felt that it did. Audience Member This movie is horrible. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Best movie of the year so fsr Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/12/19 Full Review Audience Member My husband rented this because he saw it had 80% on Rotten Tomatoes. He didn't realize at the time that it had no critic reviews and only a small number of audience reviews, most of which look to be fake. We are at least an hour into the movie at the time of this writing, and thus far it has been a very painful hour. The plot is fine I guess (it's based on a true story), but the writing and acting are downright embarrassing. In a word: "cringeworthy." Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing film. I highly recommend Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Fantastic I immensely enjoyed this film. Arthur L Bernstein is so dreamy. I wish I was his FBI Jacket. Zach McGowan is so hot. The story completes me Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Outstanding movie! Must see, very well Written and Directed. Arthur Bernstein has a big future in front of and behind the camera! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
