Jerod S 07/21/2024 Kev's whole team dies on the bus ride back home. The rest of the film is him finding himself and his talent again while fighting off the past. See more 09/24/2019 I watched One Mile to You on Netflix's streaming service. I will admit that I was into the movie at first with the initial set up of the tragedy at the start of the movie; however, I saw way too many cliche for a drama movie in conjunction with too many inconsistencies with the actual sport of running. In fact, there was a clear failure of focusing in on emphasizing the primary protagonist's interactions with all the other characters, such as his folks and his friends. The way the Kevin (Graham Rogers) and Ellie (Stefanie Scott) looked at each other made me connect to them straight away. It is a movie I will watch again. I hate how the main charexter interacts with the new love interest he acts like he constipated and sexually frusrtaed ag the same time and its so hard to watch. Also the plot is just non existant and botched asf. The main lead of the movie frowns and is bitter in pretty much through the entire movie. Acting is OK but nothing special. If feels like a Hallmark movie which is essentially what it is.
