Sheri Linden Los Angeles Times Innocence meets experience, unconvincingly, in the strained redemption drama "33 Postcards." Rated: 2/5 May 17, 2013 Full Review Farran Smith Nehme New York Post Were it not for the staccato bursts of violence, this Chinese-Australian co-production about how an adorable orphan brings love into the life of a hardened convict would feel like a film from Hayley Mills' heyday. Rated: 2/4 May 17, 2013 Full Review Neil Genzlinger New York Times It's all in the name of heartstring tugging, and the film, directed by Pauline Chan ("Little White Lies"), does that pretty well. Rated: 3/5 May 16, 2013 Full Review Ron Wilkinson Monsters and Critics Great Aussie crime thriller droops at the end but pulls through thanks to Guy Pearce. Rated: 8/10 May 27, 2013 Full Review David Noh Film Journal International The "oh-so-innocent waif and big old baddie" odd-couple formula dates back to D.W. Griffith, but this muddled effort does nothing to merit its questionable revival. May 17, 2013 Full Review Jamie S. Rich Oregonian The film has a few good story turns up its sleeve, but prepare yourself for heavy melodrama in the third act. Rated: 2/5 May 16, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member This could have been a really good movie. Actors were good but the script was very lacking-confusing, boring, yes confusing and boring. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I cannot believe the negative reviews for this movie.this was a very good movie. But apparently there wasn’t enough violence or sex to get a thumbs up. Reviewers for the most part are sick. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/01/19 Full Review Audience Member I LOVED this film! Just saw it on Prime Amazon Instant video . I don't like fluff superhero blockbusters but , instead, true unique story-telling. This gripped my heart from the beginning and loved watching a sad , orphaned girl open up a lost soul prisoner. Truly touching story! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Touching movie that takes you in a different direction than you might not expect. While the story is unlikely, the characters are interesting and you care for them. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Endearing story of a Chinese girl meeting her sponsor and finding out life isn't as expected. I do question the pacing. It seems a lot happened in what was only three days. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member just does not work as a movie Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
