      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

6 Days effectively unravels its fact-based tale in the form of a taut -- albeit unambitious -- thriller that captures its era with a minimum of flair.

Julia C Good film, well acted and well paced. Gives background information to a story that many of us thought we were familiar with. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/24 Full Review d I really enjoyed it- edge of your seat stuff made all the better knowing it is real Great acting on the part of Max and all the SAS crew Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/28/23 Full Review Jason N Although it is not your typical action movie it is as real and dirty as can be. The raw story of what it truly takes to be the first and original counter-terrorist organization as it truly occured was beautifully done. The SAS and their actions during the Iranian Embassy Crisis saved lives. It isn't meant to be a shoot-em-up action thriller but it does an amazing job of being closer to a reenactment of real life events. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/08/23 Full Review Glenn C An enjoyable movie. Strong characters and an interesting insight into Britain under Margaret Thatcher. The style of the cinematography and the script takes you back to the early 80s and the way the governments had to develop their and adapt their responses to a range of international threats, such as hijackings, bombings and hostage situations. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/30/23 Full Review Andre G That movie could have been so much more. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/12/23 Full Review IslandBoyVlogs670 This is historically accurate and not to mention one of SAS operators is literally the real life Captain Price and also not to mention the SAS literally prepared for five days until they went in on the 6th day of the siege Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Cath Clarke Guardian Bell is terrific - a combination of cocky swagger and perfect focus ... Rated: 3/5 Nov 3, 2017 Full Review Fionnuala Halligan Screen International There is a payoff here, even if the film does come across like an oddly nostalgic ode to the hard-line stance of Britain's 'Iron Lady', Margaret Thatcher. Oct 10, 2017 Full Review Kevin Maher Times (UK) For the most part, the results are pleasing and unexpectedly thoughtful. Rated: 4/5 Oct 9, 2017 Full Review Kate Rodger Newshub (NZ) If not entirely compelling, 6 Days gives us a little to chew on from several different perspectives of these well-known events. Rated: 3/5 Sep 7, 2019 Full Review Tori Brazier One Room With A View It's a shame that the story is rather bogged down by a sagging script and only basic character sketches. Rated: 3/5 Feb 21, 2019 Full Review Matt Hudson What I Watched Tonight 6 Days felt unfortunately like 6 months. Rated: 5.5/10 Oct 11, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
