squinty m I am very surprised from seeing this film. I must say mainly because a raft of the producers and the produciton company (Goldfinch) have been explicit in TAX FRAUD. They have a series of films that have NEVER BEEN RELEASED and yet they shaft the film makers and claim the Uk tax credit. Now...the director of the company Kirsty Bell has directed her own film! And guess what, the film is in the press and getting an actual release! And she's in it! Funny that. The film itself needs no review. It is a total self indulgent journey through other peoples misery that was covid. The only ones who came out the other end un scathed were the ones with money (and the ones who shafted the tax payer and milked off tax credits) Watch the is you must, but unless you're in the elite tax fraud group I woudn't bother. It's not a good film and these aren't good people. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/30/22 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Kevin Maher Times (UK) Kirsty Bell makes the fatal mistake of assuming that the pandemic might be better understood if seen through the experiences of random whimpering film twits. Rated: 2/5 Sep 30, 2022 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian There is something a little bit laboured and unconvincing about A Bird Flew in – although Rutherford is always strong... Rated: 2/5 Sep 27, 2022 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall With a gentle tone that mixes in humour and emotion, this British drama tells several inter-connected lockdown stories. Shot in striking black and white, the film looks great and features a fine eclectic cast. Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 5, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews
