Kimber Myers Los Angeles Times Not every directorial choice or camera movement works, but this indie drama shines in the silences. Sep 13, 2018 Full Review Tricia Olszewski TheWrap The dialogue is best when it focuses on issues you can actually take seriously, but the couple's talk about dreams deferred is too knee-jerk to warrant sympathy. Sep 13, 2018 Full Review Cary Darling Houston Chronicle Qasim Basir's melancholic mood piece, "A Boy. A Girl. A Dream.," certainly has its pretensions...But to get caught up in its impressive stylishness is to miss the larger point of finding strength through human connection. Rated: 3.5/5 Sep 12, 2018 Full Review Fiona Underhill CC2K A fresh and original take on a LA love story. Rated: 5/5 Jan 22, 2019 Full Review Danielle Solzman Solzy at the Movies Set amid a changing nation, the chemistry between the leads help A Boy, A Girl, A Dream find a love story within an ever-changing world. Sep 20, 2018 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall The understated performances gurgle with powerful emotions. Hardwick and Good are terrific as people trying be cool to a stranger, but failing to conceal their underlying feelings. Rated: 3.5/5 Sep 17, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member This movie is so captivating makes you want to do more in life well scripted movie. Its nothing like when a woman or man that believes in you and have your back 💯 percent must see movie. A Boy. A Girl A Dream Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was raw in the sense it was stripped down. It wasn't your typical romance or drama plot. So the pave is a little bit slower, but it's a really good movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Stupid, divisive, and simply 90 minutes of REEEE!!! about election night. Ridiculous premise and so much oversensitive rambling, its hard to take the movie seriously at all. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member a real sleeper-dull/pointless-yawn yawn yawn Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie felt so pointless and unreal. Worst movie for all actors involved . Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Description sounded really interesting. But.... Makes no sense. Lots of whining in a Lyft. Couldn't watch past that. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews
