One-hundred years ago, a strip of Santa's magical jingle bells were discovered by a young boy in Pleasant Bay, Oregon, bringing about a century of prosperity and peace for the small town. Now, just days before Christmas, the bells -- the lifeblood of the town -- are missing, and it's up to a group of intrepid kids to solve the case, find the bells and restore the Christmas magic to Pleasant Bay and its citizens.

It's a Christmas "Nancy Drew" of the 21st Century. With a pretty good mystery, for kids. Not so much for adults. It has some mild character issues, but as a whole... If you are a Nancy Drew fan, you'll like this one.

Great little Christmas film, pegged the thief in the first 20 minutes, but this kept our attention from beginning to end, it’s great for the whole family, definitely a fun watch. Merry Christmas!

A pretty fun unique Christmas story that younger audiences will love. I thought the first half of this was great. It tells a pretty cool tale about the magic of these Christmas bells that were left a kid 100 years earlier. They are put in a museum but end up getting stolen. So it's a Christmas mystery movie which I thought was pretty cool. During the 2nd and 3rd acts of the movie it loses the Christmas vibe and it just feels like a children's mystery movie. Overall, I thought it was fun. The child actors were good and there was some good humor. I just thought it fell into mediocrity.

This is a good old Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys story for this old timer. The characters are sympathetic and the dictum to not judge too quickly is drilled into the viewer. I liked the strong male leads and the smart-as-a-whip girl detective. The protagonist could have been hidden a little better and maybe they could have waited a touch longer to reveal false leads. The biggest mark down for this movie was making an idol of sleigh bells which takes one's eyes off of the reason for the season. Santa Claus is a pleasant Christmas tradition, but ground it to the truth & the light, Jesus Christ.
