A movie that felt like it was all over the place. Very artsy, some very nice eye candy(Brazilian bikini beach babes), and very boring. I nodded off quite a bit here. The characters were either really happy with each other but yet in the next scene angry... and then back to happy and then angry again. Oh those bi-polar Brazilians.. well, featuring a French dude and an American chica too.

A bittersweet coming of age tale wrapped in a depressing dissolution of marriage story. Laura Neiva knocked my socks off with her performance as 14-year old Filipa. This is emotional on many levels, and the cast is terrific. Not my usual type of movie - in my queue due to Camilla Belle's involvement - but I enjoyed it quite a bit.
