Jason Shawhan Nashville Scene The MVP of the 2020 Chattanooga Film Festival, The Yellow Night is an exquisite Brazilian nightmare that vibes like a collision between April Fool’s Day and Last Year at Marienbad. Jun 2, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Gabriel T It goes well when it bets on cosmic horror and analogue horror, especially because it's perceptible the low budget the movie had to deal with. The dialogue is great and the words were chosen well to represent northeast Brazil youths talking casually. And there's no problem with any acting Despite those positive points, the second third of "Yellow night" was really bad for me, I'm talking about the party sequence. The movie was going relatively okey until it decided to cut to this part, it completely broke the rhythm in my opinion. And I felt embarrassed while watching the loudest music competition scene. The movie would've benefited from being shortened and more focused on a horrifying weird slow-burn instead of adding some scenes Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/05/25 Full Review Alexander Z Absolute garbage. Nothing to do with horror whatsoever. Yes, the people are pretty and handsome, Plenty of atmosphere but that is IT. One hour and forty-ish minutes of watching laundry dry.
