So while the cats may be the initial draw in this film... what really makes A Whisker Away worth watching is its dissection of growing up enough to face difficult feelings head-on and to think seriously about other people's emotions as well. Go to Full Review

What "A Whisker Away" loses in terms of flow and legibility, it makes up for in its celebration of the fullness of human life. Go to Full Review

The cute factor in Netflix's anime film A Whisker Away is bountiful enough, even if its love story of naive obsession is a little more than worrisome. Go to Full Review

The lighting and colors are the strongest part of this movie. It's such a bright and colorful film, and the art alone inspires some real joyful tones. Go to Full Review

Maureen H @RT23107897 13h The animation itself was good, but the plot and characters themselves are concerning. The main character is literally a stalker and won't take no for an answer, yet somehow still gets the guy. Had the genders been switched, the genre of this movie would've been very different. See more Tristan R @drpluto Jan 11 an absolute recomendor i cried muitible times See more Jesse B @RT45969508 Aug 30 My family and I watch “A Whisker Away” and it was breathtaking See more Tony P @RT58277477 Jun 26 Ok, I really like the use of symbolism and motifs here, the writers pulled in visions of characters like the protagonist effortlessly, literally making everyone else a scarecrow apart from the love interest is a smart way to symbolise the importance of that character throughout the film. Other things like when the two characters are sitting together in the rain while only one has an umbrella really shows, not tells the characters' emotions. The art was just good too, as well as the music! I loved the themes of the movie the most though, things like love, depression, and others. I did think the plot has some bipolar taste to it though, maybe that was just me. See more Hex x @HexOnThat Apr 30 It's quite a good movie! Just doesn't stand out to me personally! It is a quite good movie tho! See more Paul S @RT91988760 Mar 21 This is one of the better anime movies I've seen. The story was intriguing and heartwarming, and the visuals were spectacular. I definitely recommend it for anime fans! See more Read all reviews
