I Guess This Is Duff Attempting To Be Ultra-Dramatic, Which There Is Slight Hints Of Shining Brillance Attempting To Break Out..But Ot's Mostly Examples Of How Not To Develop A Character. Duff Is Outshone By Her Supporting Actors, Particularly The Boyfiend. Did Not Believe Any New Ground Was Broken Here..Other Than Someone Whom Finds Herself Far Too Easily..Running Along The Beach & All.

Pretty realistic portrayal of a depressed angsty teenage girl with family issues. I liked the emotion behind it and the symbolism. Cinematography was amazing and so was the design of the journal sequences. Totally underrated.
