John DeFore Hollywood Reporter Hossain's feature debut is more direct than some of its peers on the scrappy sci-fi scene, eschewing trippy concepts and focusing on easily digested relationship issues. Feb 20, 2020 Full Review Anton Bitel Sight & Sound His ultimate dilemma... is deftly handled and moving, ensuring that Hossain's 'one last job' scenario, for all its futurist gizmos (temple phones, paralytic implants, etc), stays down to earth. May 25, 2019 Full Review James Hanton Outtake Mag After We Leave does manage to elicit reactions, but not often enough, and this inconsistency is glaring. Rated: 3 / 5 Jul 27, 2020 Full Review Peg Aloi Arts Fuse I was blown away by how good After We Leave looks, its subtlety and plausibility and confident simplicity. Feb 15, 2020 Full Review Bradley Gibson Film Threat Once in a while, a budget indie film comes along that makes us glad this art form is still around. After We Leave is a shining example of indie filmmaking at its finest. Rated: 9/10 Dec 2, 2019 Full Review Matt Rodgers Flickering Myth Although it does get a little bumpy along the way, Aleem Hossain's feature film debut remains a promising genre entry. James B Dont watch this, its so slow and boring and nothing happens, acting dire, dialogue non existing, fight scenes so bad they are nearly entertaining... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/23/24 Full Review Keith J Atmospheric with just a hint of near future new technology. Ponderous with romantic overtones. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/02/23 Full Review Rob F If you want to never really know what's going on and the movie then just ends, this one is for you. I appreciate that it was made for $12,000 or whatever, but it'd be nice if the story were a little sharper, or we had a better idea of who these characters are and why we should care about them. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/06/23 Full Review Elaine K An hour and a half I'll never get back in my life, gone for nothing. I kept watching hoping it would come together, hoping the audience would be invited into the plot, but no. Just total bs. Please save yourself and select something else. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Aaron G Don't remember much but rated it low internally Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review arnaldo s I waist my time watching this.
