Before starting this review, I want to make it clear that at this point in time, I have not seen the original "Agneepath" from the 90s. I don't always find myself watching older Bollywood movies, so I decided to watch this update from 2012. As far as this movie goes, I think it is pretty entertaining. The movie is overlong and isn't always the best-paced and suffered from going back and forth from being interesting and dragging. However, as a spectacle made to entertain, it mostly works. While I am not sure how true to the original this movie is, this movie definitely has an old fashioned feel in terms of its story. Overall, this movie is an enjoyable and intense story that kept my interest for the most part.
