Audience Member Peter Chan's debut. Nice drama of friendship and love. I like how it shows the triangle relationship. Throughout the film, there is a certain kind of atmosphere that is very similar to European films, and in that way, Chan brings a breath of fresh air to Hong Kong cinema. Characters are little bit too easy except for Eric Tsang's one. His performance in that role is definitely unforgettable. Alan Tam and Maggie Cheung give great performances, too. What makes me happy most is that the second half of it sets in San Francisco. What I don't like most of this is too much infection from western culture (see what they eat, drink, wear, etc.) that is almost like Peter Chan's admiration to it.
