Synopsis
This feature-length offshoot of the British comedy series "Til Death Do Us Part" explores the past of its central character: foul-mouthed, racist Londoner Alf Garnett (Warren Mitchell). Starting in the late 1930s, the film chronicles Alf's marriage to his unhappy spouse, Else (Dandy Nichols), before then looking forward to capture his daughter, Rita, exchanging vows with socialist slacker Mike Rawlins (Anthony Booth). The family saga wraps up with the Garnetts fleeing to new digs in suburbia.
