It sounds like the person is just reading a script with no emotional inflection at all. Makes it sound like he is bored and that makes the information hard to follow. My mind kept wandering because the narrator did not sound interested or even involved. The difference between when someone tells you a story excitedly versus someone who reads a story without understanding or caring about the story at all.
