If they're planning a third sequel, Art needs to come back and show the pretenders how scaring others is really done. Go to Full Review

All Hallows Eve 2 is a horror anthology with the right spirit, but well-wishing only gets you so far. Go to Full Review

In an age where the horror anthology is back in full force, I'd say "All Hallows' Eve 2" is worth checking out. Go to Full Review

LIAM C @Cuttothechase Jan 13 Anything with art the clown I love. If you enjoy slasher films and gore… you will like this. See more Lincoln D 12/07/2024 Poorly executed, and bad and generic ideas, a pointless film, and I have to say the same for the original. See more Josh A 11/20/2024 This just feels pointless. It's literally just a rehash of All Hallows' Eve but without Art the Clown, the actual interconnecting plot or any connectivity between the shorts. It's just a collection of mostly mediocre short films about Halloween - actually, most of them aren't even about Halloween. Some had cool concepts e.g. The Last Halloween and A Boy's Life. But they just fell flat. At least with All Hallows' Eve, the video tape had a purpose: to bring Art the Clown into the real world. If Art dies in Terrifier 4, it's basically an excuse for Art to come back for a fifth movie: the tape was found with footage of some of his murders that brought back an alternate version of him. But it feels creepy and connected. I never thought I'd be defending All Hallows' Eve, as that wasn't even that good of a movie, but here we are. Basically a case of "It's trash, but it's OUR TRASH DAMN IT!". The only reason I watched this was because it's technically part of the Terrifier franchise, but I'll just ignore it and treat it like that one uncle at the family function that everyone ignores. Overall, I like the idea of giving short films a second chance, but it's just not a good film. See more @MarkoCop 10/26/2024 Cringe acting, low budget, very very bad. Even I have more acting experience than these actors. See more James B @James_B 10/26/2024 Although Art the clown doesn't appear in this which might make it disappointing to fans it's an amazing film with top notch gore and some scary stories especially the last, it truly sets the standards for anthology films. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 10/20/2024 All Hallows’ Eve 2 continues the anthology-style horror concept established in the first film, centering on a mysterious VHS tape that unleashes a series of terrifying stories on anyone who watches it. The framing story follows a woman who discovers the tape, and as each segment plays out, viewers are confronted with different kinds of horror, from supernatural threats to slasher-style violence. The anthology structure allows for a variety of short stories, each with its own style and tone. Some segments stand out for their creativity and suspense, while others feel rushed or underdeveloped. The pacing is uneven, which makes the film feel longer than it needs to be and occasionally takes viewers out of the tension it builds. One of the film’s strengths is the wraparound story, which introduces a masked killer stalking the final viewer of the tape. This gives the anthology a connecting thread and adds an extra layer of suspense, keeping the audience engaged between the different segments. However, the killer’s presence is never fully explored, maintaining a level of mystery that can be both intriguing and frustrating. While the horror elements are effective at times, the film struggles with consistency. Some stories deliver genuine scares, while others rely too heavily on clichés or predictable outcomes. The lack of strong character development across the segments makes it difficult to become fully invested in the individual stories. Compared to the first film, the sequel feels weaker overall. The pacing issues and uneven quality of the segments prevent it from achieving the same level of suspense, and the anthology format sometimes dilutes the impact of the horror. Despite this, it still offers moments of creativity and gore that fans of Halloween-themed horror will appreciate. Ultimately, All Hallows’ Eve 2 is a mixed bag. It delivers some memorable scares and intriguing ideas, but the inconsistent storytelling and uneven execution hold it back from being truly great. Fans of the first film or of anthology-style horror may find enough to enjoy, but it is far from a cohesive or polished entry in the series. See more Read all reviews
